General Facts, Terms and Policies
Q: Can I just wait and buy my tickets at the door?
A: It's risky. If we have tickets left, we'll offer them at the door, but there are no guarantees we'll have any left. We have a limited number of tickets and we expect them to go quickly. If you know you want to come, make sure you get your tickets now.
Q: Can we bring our own games to play?
A: Sure. More games means more fun for everyone. We will be publishing a list of games that will be available in the library but feel free to bring what you want.
Q: I haven't played many board games and I'm worried I might not fit in. Is this the right event for me?
A: Absolutely. Tabletop gamers are a friendly group of people who love sharing the games they enjoy with new people. We'll have friendly people available who will be happy to show you how to play.
Q: Can I demo my game at Game It Forward?
A: Absolutely. As a part of your General Admission Ticket you are welcome to open gaming so feel free to bring your own game. Do you want advertising for your demo through Game It Forward? Contact us about a sponsorship package. We accept in-kind sponsorships as well as monetary.

TERMS AND POLICIES
POLICIES OF THE FAYETTEVILLE TOWN CENTER AND GAME IT FORWARD MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES!
Admission - Admissions are one price and valid all day. There is no partial admission fee.
Badges - No swapping/lending of badges is allowed. Badges should be worn prominently at all times.
Children - As with all attendees, our goal is that children and their parents have fun while respecting the enjoyment of others. All attendees must have a valid badge. Children under the age of 10 must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; minors age 10-17 must have a responsible guardian present at Game It Forward at all times.
Food and Drink - Game It Forward has reached out to local restaurants for food donations. While it is hard to please every one we do try to have a mix of food throughout the day. A various combination of Tea, Lemonade, Coffee or Water will be provided complementary however sodas will be available for purchase. Drinks are allowed in the gaming hall however we would appreciate it if all food it is kept safetly away from games. We ask that you do not eat while playing games as we do not want to ruin someone's personal game or a donated game to the library or worse a raffle/play to win game.
Harassment Policy -Game It Forward is dedicated to providing a harassment-free and inclusive experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, gender identity or religion. Therefore, we do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Please familiarize yourself with our definition of harassment, and what we expect of Game It Forward attendees.
Likewise, if you feel that someone else is being harassed, you may notify a Game It Forward staff member who will address the concern immediately.
If you, as an attendee, are asked to stop behaving in a way that is interpreted as harassment, you are expected to stop, immediately. Arguing about the situation or trying to convince someone that your behavior is not harassment will not get you anywhere. Just stop. If you disagree that your behavior is harassment, that is fine, but the behavior should stop anyway.
If anyone engages in harassing behavior, Game It Forward organizers may take any action they, in their sole discretion, deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion with no refund.
Game It Forward staff will be happy to help participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.
Lost Items/Theft - Game It Forward is not responsible for any lost or stolen property however please check with the Door Staff or Cashier for lost and found.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization.
Prizes and Giveaway Policy - Game It Forward has several types of giveaways that we do throughout the event and year. Here's what you may want to know about how all of them work! Game It Forward Prize Rules are guidelines, not hard and fast rules. We retain the right to make last minute changes to the way things work, make mistakes, or otherwise somehow vary from these rules!

Profanity - Please refrain from profanity and vulgar language as this is a family friendly event.
Refunds - a refund is available minus the processing fees until December 31, 2016. Due to the nature of our event and food preparations we will not provide refunds starting January 1st, 2016.
Sportsmanship - Don't be a jerk. Treat everyone with respect.
Smoking - In accordance with the Town Center and Local Laws, there is no smoking in the event area.
Weapons - Absolutely no weapons of any kind may be brought on the event premises.
